If the 50s were about Dilip Kumar-Raj Kapoor-Dev Anand, the 90s gave us a trio that has now been ruling the industry for close to three decades. The post-Bachchan era wherein the angry young man theme was losing steam, saw a new kind of superstardom symbolised by the three Khans who appealed to the youth all over the world with their unique brand of romantic movies. Incidentally all three Khans were born in same year (1965) with Salman being the youngest of the lot. With Maine Pyar Kiya, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, the Khans became youth icons.
