BAISHALI CHATTERJEE is a freelance writer who graduated with a BMM in journalism from St. Xavier‘s, Mumbai.

 

NONDON BAGCHI is a rock drummer who has been part of pioneering 70s rock bands Great Bear and High, and now leads the popular Hip Pocket. Based in Kolkata, he has played with all the leading musicians in the country. He also teaches maths, and writes a food column for a national daily. PULOMA BASU has worked in media and education, was part of the editorial team at Saregama, and is now a content writer with a corporate communications company.

 

VIKRAM IYENGAR is a Kathak dancer, performance artist, director and choreographer with a degree in Performance Studies from the UK; he researches and writes on dance, music, and theatre.

 

ANURAG KASHYAP is a filmmaker (Paanch, Black Friday, No Smoking, The Return of Hanuman) and scriptwriter (Satya, Kaun, Jung), who has written the dialogue for several films (including Water, Yuva, Mixed Doubles, Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd., Shakalaka Boom Boom, Dhandhanadhan Goal).

 

ANJUM KATYAL is a professional arts and culture editor who also writes poetry, does the occasional translation and sings the blues. She is Editor, Saregama.

 

VIJAY KICHLU is a veteran Hindustani classical vocalist, who has done invaluable work for the promotion of training, education, scholarship and research in Hindustani classical music. He was instrumental in setting up the Sangeet Research Academy, Kolkata. His monthly column on Hindustani classical music is exclusive to the Mag.e.zine.

 

SANJEEV KOHLI joined the music industry in the 70s and has worked with Polydor and HMV, producing and managing albums for the top artistes of India as well as discovering new talent. He is currently Director and CEO, Yash Raj Films.

 

NANDITA PALCHOUDHURI is a folk arts curator who is Chairperson and Trustee, India Foundation for the Arts, Bangalore.

 

R. SANKAR is a Keralite who has lived his life in Kolkata, serving two foreign consular missions before running the C&F agency of a Chennai-based multinational company.

 

B.R.SHARAN, now Chief Creative Officer, Feature Films, Saregama, has worked in Advertising, TV Scripting and Production, TV Broadcast, Events, Journalism, Feature Films, and Internet. He has been part of Hindi filmmaker J.P. Dutta‘s company since Border; and has also worked with director Mahesh Bhatt. He is Editor of GR8!, a magazine on the world of TV; and he enjoyed a short but successful stint as story writer on the hit serial Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin.
