Royalty Management Programme

Royalty and IPR are the corner stones of any business in the entertainment space.
Our SAP enabled IPRM module tracks all sales in both physical and digital formats.
We are migrating to “e contracts”. A combination of this enables us to pay royalties on actual sales as per contracts.
We pay royalties every month and shortly plan to credit the payments directly into the partners’ bank accounts and give them the facility to check their sales on the net.
As trustees of over 300000 tracks of music, 23000 artistes and 50000 contracts we consider it our sacred task to look after this asset. Being a listed company our practices are fair and transparent and we welcome any suggestions to further enhance our processes.

Health and Accident Insurance
The Saregama Cares programme is perhaps the first such undertaken by any entertainment company in India. As a sign of commitment to the creative fraternity, we have begun providing an Insurance Cover for our artistes (singers, composers, lyricists, musicians). The programme offers both health insurance and personal accident benefits. For this purpose we have tied up with Reliance General Insurance Company Ltd. This will enable the artistes to use the benefits of the policy across its network in India.
This important initiative is directly monitored by our Corporate Management Committee. |
